In addition to their upcoming retro-style “Stranger Things 3” game, Netflix has announced out of E3 today that a “Stranger Things” mobile game is coming from Next Games!

“It’s a location-based RPG/puzzler,” they teased in the Twitter Exclusive reveal. The Netflix account added, “The Upside Down is closer to home than you think.”

“The mobile game will reimagine the Stranger Things universe in the style of an 80’s Saturday morning cartoon.”

“Through location-based mechanics and Google Maps integration, players can explore The Upside Down hidden around them in their daily travels and work with fellow fans to fight back its emerging evils.”

Speaking about the aforementioned retro-style game, Netflix noted at E3 that it has 12 characters with unique mechanics and moves, and it closely follows the events of the show.
